Words are kind of my thing.

Wordlark is led by Katy Steinmetz, a language obsessive who previously served as San Francisco Bureau Chief for TIME. The firm was founded on the idea of applying journalistic curiosity, rigor, and verve to the art of naming. Getting ideas across has always been the job. A namer just has a slightly smaller word count.

I loved working with Katy. Her process is thorough and personal and SO FUN. Not only did we name my studio, but working with her helped me refine the mission of the studio itself. Katy is the ultimate NAME DOULA.
